This course would certify that individual has a detailed working knowledge of Trend Micro Security Products. The TCSP (Trend Micro Certified Security Professional) certification can be achieved by an individual, by successfully completing the training and certification exams which comprise of five (5) Professional-level certification courses covering each of Trend Micro's core technologies:
 

1. Control Manager (TMCM)
2. OfficeScan (OSCE)
3. InterScan Message Security Suite (IMSS)
4. InterScan Web Security Suite (IWSS)
5. ScanMail for Exchange (SMEX)

This hands-on course is designed for EnCase users who are preparing for the EnCE (EnCase Certified Examiner) certification process.  The EnCE Certification is a highly sought after accreditation which requires significant knowledge of computer forensics and Guidance Software’s EnCase product to successfully achieve.  The two phase testing process is based upon a written examination and also the completion of a thorough practical scenario examination and preparation of an investigative report.  The certification is based upon the practical computer forensic skills and knowledge presented in Guidance software’s Computer Forensic I and Computer Forensic II courses.  The EnCE Prep Course is NOT intended to be a replacement for these two classes.  Instead, it is a thorough but accelerated review of the subjects covered in those courses.  Student’s cannot waive or substitute the prerequisite attendance of Guidance Software’s Computer Forensics II course when applying to attend the EnCE Preparation Course

Students will use EnCase hands on to review the skill set required to address the EnCE Practical examination, including acquisition and handling of evidence, understanding the evidence file, case creation, keyword searches, hashing, signature analysis, bookmarking and reporting their findings, and other similar skills.  Students will review the body of knowledge required to perform computer forensics.  This body of knowledge in the areas of computer science, computer forensic terminology, law and familiarity with the EnCase forensic tool is the core of the first phase (written examination) of the certification process.

The Advanced Technical Security Products Training Course is a hands-on, two-day instructor-led course that covers the security landscape, basic Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) and Security Management System (SMS) installation, configuration and operation. It covers basic and advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics, focusing on commonly seen issues. Students will perform basic lab assignments in order to familiarize themselves with the user interface and common administrative tasks.
 

During this four-day interactive training course, you will learn how to install, configure, administer, support and troubleshoot Websense Web Filtering (WWF) and Websense Web Security (WWS) products in a VMware environment.   You will also become familiar with the new Graphical User Interface (GUI), extensive built-in help capabilities and new Today and History reporting dashboards. 

Concepts of efficient policy creation and administration, Investigate and Presentation reports as well as enhanced Delegated Administration are all covered briefly in lectures then extensively reinforced with robust labs structured as demos, hands-on, concept and troubleshooting labs.

Both Resellers and end-users can attend the Websense Certified Engineer – Web Security Course, take the exam and become certified.

This hands-on course involves practical exercises and real-life simulations. The class provides participants with an understanding of the proper handling of digital evidence from the initial seizure of the computer/media to acquisition, and then progresses to the analysis of the data.  It concludes with archiving and validating the data.

This hands-on course is designed for investigators with strong computer skills, prior computer forensics training, and experience using the EnCase forensic software.  This course builds upon the skills covered in the EnCase Computer Forensics I course and enhances the examiner's ability to work efficiently through the use of the unique features of EnCase.

*Students must understand evidence handling; the structure of the evidence file; creating and using case files; data acquisition methods including DOS based, hardware write protected, crossover cable and disk to disk; recovering deleted files and folders in a FAT environment; keyword searches across logical and physical media; creating and using EnCase bookmarks; file signatures and signature analysis; and locating and understanding Windows artifacts.

Focusing on investigations common to the private sector, students will learn about the following:

• How to create and use of logical evidence files
• How to locate and recover deleted partitions and folders
• How to conduct keyword searches and advanced searches using GREP
• Students will gain an understanding of the EnCase Virtual File System (VFS) and Physical Disk Emulator (PDE)
• Students will learn about the Windows® Registry
• Students will learn how to deal with compound file types
• How to export files, directories and entire volumes
• How to identify files using hash values and building hash libraries
• How to identify Windows XP operating system artifacts such as link files, recycle bin, and user folders
• How to prepare reports and evidence for presentation in court
• How to recover artifacts such as swap files, file slack, and spooler files
• How to recover printed and faxed pages
